Something is Afoot
Just a fun little easter egg I'd like to share with you all -- check out this illustration from my new children's book CLEAN JIMMY SHEEN (above) and then another from my mom's classic children's book from 1978, UP DAY DOWN DAY (below):
For those of you that don't know, my mom is Jacquie Hann, an accomplished children's book creator in her own right who wrote and illustrated THAT MAN IS TALKING TO HIS TOES, FOLLOW THE LEADER, WHERE'S MARK, and BIG TROUBLE among others. She's currently working on a weekly web comic called LITTLE JACQUIE: A SMALL VOICE OF REASON. Guess the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree, huh?
